Immersive Martian Adventure
It’s great to hear London’s West End shows will finally reopen this summer. What will you see when theatres reopen their doors?
In the meantime, if you can’t wait for your next full-scale theatre experience, and would like to try a multi-award winning show that’s performed just for you, with an audience of only 8 to 12 people per performance, then why not treat yourself to something that’s unlike anything else you’ve seen before.
It’s what Mark Roberts from Brentwood described as “The birth of the next level of theatre”.
Step into The War Of The Worlds as you’re transported back to the Martian Invasion of 1898. Led by our amazing cast of 12 live actors, you’ll explore 24 film quality sets, take an out-of-this-world trip to Mars by hot air balloon, and even meet West End star Carrie Hope Fletcher in Virtual Reality!
Not sure what to expect from an immersive Martian adventure? Hear from Megan Stewart, our resident director, and Tim McQuillen-Wright, our set designer, as they describe creating for immersive theatre. You can also hear what guests have said since our reopening.
Tim McQuillen-Wright (Set Designer)
“I don’t think there’s any limit to how rich you can make that story. What we keep needing to remind ourselves is that every audience member will find a different detail that only they see.”
Megan Stewart (Resident Director)
“For anyone who has never tried immersive theatre; it’s ultimately fulfilling the childhood dream of stepping inside the fantasy; of going on your own adventure; of being the hero.”
“This is the birth of the next level of theatre” – Mark R, Brentwood, via guest reviews
