EBook Review – Clutch (I am Just Junco) – J A Huss

Clutch - J A HussAlthough not your traditional thriller, Clutch is a rare find.  Set in the future, 2125 to be more exact you follow nineteen year old Junco Coot described as “the most foul-mouthed, unpredictable and ruthless sniper the Rural Republic” as she is dragged into a journey of self discovery.

My first thoughts were that it was slow to get started, but this was quickly dispelled as the twists and turns arrive fast and furiously, the author J.A Huss does a delightful job of drawing the reader in, with her descriptive scenes and colourful language, giving enough intrigue to keep you hanging and wanting more.

EBook Review- Detonate – David Green

David Greene - Detonate

David Greene - DetonateDetonate is a thriller by David Greene, which does everything a thriller should! It is fast moving, with enough twists and turns to keep you interested and turning the pages! I enjoyed finding out more about the protagonists as the story went on; Tyrone King is soldier turned private investigator who unwittingly becomes embroiled in a plan involving terrorists, New York and the Statue of Liberty.

Ebook Review – Crowley’s Window – Gord Rollo

Crowley's Window

Crowley's WindowWhen I read the synopsis, I thought this book was going to be right up my street, and I wasnt wrong!  Gord Rollo's supernatural thriller with a hint of horror hit all the right notes for me!  It starts at good pace, and the book pretty much continues like that right up to the final climax!

Losing her sight (and her eyes) when a teenager, the beautiful but troubled Abby now lives and works with her 'surrogate family' as part of the 'freak show' in a travelling circus.  But unlike most of the other 'freaks' her talents are real, she is able to see into the future, the loss of her eyes seemingly having given her another way to see, and enhanced the gifts she has always had!

Ebook Review – Superman’s Cape – Brian Spangler

Superman's Cape Novel

Superman's Cape Novel If I had come across this book on the shelf in the local bookshop I would probably not have bought it, and fter reading the synopsis on my Kindle it struck me that this was going to be another predictable story like so many others out there. However, it is in the Amazon top 300, which had to bode well!  Having been asked to give it a review by Razberryjuice (which means a free read), I made a cup of tea, settled down and made a start…
