Ebook Review – Superman’s Cape – Brian Spangler

Superman's Cape Novel

Superman's Cape Novel If I had come across this book on the shelf in the local bookshop I would probably not have bought it, and fter reading the synopsis on my Kindle it struck me that this was going to be another predictable story like so many others out there. However, it is in the Amazon top 300, which had to bode well!  Having been asked to give it a review by Razberryjuice (which means a free read), I made a cup of tea, settled down and made a start…

EBook Review – Seven Days From Sunday – MH Sargent

When I was given MH Sargent's book to review, I was initially sceptical, to be honest it really isn’t the kind of book I would normally pick. The story revolves about the kidnapping in Iraq of an American contractor, his subsequent death and the threats made by the kidnappers. The prologue sets the scene, as the man is beheaded and the footage beamed out across the web. After reading the prologue I was even less enthusiastic about reading the rest of the book BUT I am so glad I did, the story is fast paced enough that you don't dwell on any one single happening, the characters are very well defined and unlike far too many e-books available out there, MH Sargent can really write and the book is extremely well edited.

Ebook Review – The Baby Trap – Sibel Hodge

5-stars

The Baby Trap made me laugh, made me cry, made me cringe and cross my legs! I loved it, I understood the subject, having lived much of it; but the author is able to still entertain you and ensure for every rueful tear there are more smiles to be had. You don't need to have been through infertility or that absolute need for a child to enjoy The Baby Trap, its well written, funny, poignant and clever enough to stand up as a novel on its own.

EBook Review – Wings of Shadow (The Underground Trilogy)

Before reading this ebook, I purposefully didn’t read the prologue, so I had no real idea what the story was about, and I found the whole premise in a literary world currently full of vampires and various shades of that colour grey to be refreshing –

I have therefore absolutely intentionally failed to mention in my review the central crux of the book! It really is a lovely surprise!

Wings of Shadow is not a challenging read, nor is it a read that will change your world, however it is light and easy to read, its the kind of ebook you can pop on the Kindle before your holiday and happily dip into when round the pool.

Christian Grey – 50 Shades of Grey – RAZBERRY CANDY

NAME: Christian Grey

AGE: 28

ABOUT: Christian Grey is a successful, handsome and charming business man, however there is a darker side to the CEO of Grey Enterprises. Christian, or better known by his girlfriend as ‘Fifty’ has had a painful and disturbing past, he was brought into the world by a drug addict who failed to care for him or feed him, this was made worse by her ‘pimp’ boyfriend who would stub cigarettes out on his body. This all came to an end when Mr Grey’s mother overdosed and died in front of him at just 4 years old, from then on he was taken into care and then finally adopted at the age of 15 – so its no surprise he has a few, shall we say, ‘issues’.
